Romantic stays near Crystal Castle and Shambhala Gardens

Overall, I had a really lovely stay and would happily return. Positive: I had a great stay at Cactus Rose Villa. It’s a lovely apartment in a fantastic location, with easy check-in and a really calm, relaxed feel. The apartment and pool area are beautifully secluded and private, and I felt completely undisturbed throughout my stay. The decor is gorgeous and thoughtfully done, and the facilities were excellent. There was genuinely nothing missing, which made it feel very comfortable and easy to settle into. Street parking was readily available right out the front and never an issue. Just worth noting that it’s an upstairs apartment, so you’ll need to be comfortable carrying luggage up and down stairs. Negative: The only small downside for me was that one of the bedroom windows doesn’t have glass, just shutters and a fly screen, so there was some traffic and general neighbour noise at night. That said, it didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent experience.
